Julie Kranitz-Andrade

CFP, B.Com., EPC
Certified Financial Planner

I am a high energy and high achieving financial planner. Similar to an architect, I take your dreams, your personality, and your financial data and work with them to produce the blue print that maximizes results.

I review where you are, where you're going, and then I diligently crunch the numbers and provide you different options. I am constantly learning, improving my knowledge, looking for innovative, legal strategies which will get my clients to their dreams faster. Together we then choose the best plan, and implement with confidence. Our strategies work but it’s important to realize that we don’t offer get rich- quick schemes we offer relationships and results.

Why Do We Do What We Do?

Growing up, I was very much inspired by my mother. After getting divorced she was thrown into taking care of her finances. She was determined to take control of her destiny. She took some university investment courses and did well for herself.

She was astute and made good investments and yet her broker still managed to take advantage of her. In some cases she was charged exorbitant fees and pertinent pieces of information were withheld from her.

I was determined to never be taken advantage of, and more importantly I am motivated to provide honest and balanced advice, so that you and each of my clients can reach their personal goals. You will experience both peace of mind and confidence regarding your finances.

I was also influenced by another one of my own experiences. After my second son was born I was incorrectly diagnosed with Lymphoma. Hearing my name and Cancer in the same sentence sent me into shock. I was very lucky that the doctors were mistaken, and that I eventually made a full recovery (after being CAT scanned quarterly for two years), but I learned a lot of important things along the way.

I learned that money doesn’t really matter, but money sure helps to support the things that do; family, health care, extra help etc. It also provides options and removes guilt. I learned that maximizing investment returns needs to be balanced with planning for what I now believe is a high possibility; disability, critical illness, loss of a job or death. That is why I now totally encourage full financial planning. I’ve also learned that when you don’t have your health, you have nothing. All your energy is focused on getting well and finances are the last thing you want to worry about; although money is the first thing that you will worry about if you haven’t planned properly.
